Grande Depeche Mode. Antes mesmo de relançar em DVD sua primeira coletânea de clips, a banda, ou a gravadora, está lançando THE BEST OF - Volume 1. Como sempre, o album também vai ser lançado em uma edição especial com DVD contendo Clips de toda a carreira da banda.
A seleção vai trazer clips ineditos em DVD e alguns já disponíveis. "Just can´t get enough", "See You", "Everything Counts", "People are people", "Master and Servant", "Shake the disease", "Dream on", "I feel love" e "Precious" são alguns exemplos. Mas ficaram de fora classicos como "The Meaning of love", "Leave in Silence", "But not tonight" e "MARTYR", o novo single e "John The revelator" entre outras. O CD traz como novidade a musica "MARTYR". A data de lançamento no exterior é 30 de outubro. No Brasil se sair com DVD até o final do ano já é lucro para os Fâs...
Um fato bem claro vendo a carreira da banda é que a fase Anton Corbijn parece ter ficado menos intensa com a banda, pelo menos no que se diz de videoclips. O fotografo que tem um estilo impressionantemente belo, tambem trabalha com meio mundo do Rock mundial, entre eles o U2, Bjork, David Bowie e R.E.M. O fotografo também dirige os shows da banda que na minha opinião vem ultimamente se aproximando do ERASURE em sua fase áurea, isso é, mais GAY, graças às afetações de Martin Gore.

Vale então esperar o Volume 2 dessa coletânea para que possamos completar nossa coleção de videoclips dessa que é a maior banda eletrônica (depois do Kraftwerk, é claro) do mundo.
